The End is Near

I just finished up with my blog for this part of my Media course. This means that the end of the semester is very near and student teaching is just around the corner! I am very excited and anxious to find out where I will be placed and what grades I will be in. This semester has been given me lots of tools and resources that I hope to use in the classroom.

Ebooks

Well, I just finished my research paper on ebooks and I must say that I am impressed with some of the positive research that I found. I always knew that children were naturally intersted in technology and this is another tool for teachers to enhance their students educational experience. I am excited and looking forward to the prospect of using this technology in my own classroom.

The Little Things

I am finding that the more lessons that I plan, the more excited I get about the prospect of having my own classroom.  It is scary too of course.

Hi guys,

I just created my first blog! Ok, for those who may not know, my undergrad was in business. I worked in a human resources capacity for seven years. The only experience I have had working in the education system is what I have had through the MAT program. I have a two year old daughter, three dogs and a husband! I hope to learn alot of interesting and useful things during the class.
